Thanks.... I have 2 FX5 running for filtration. The 2 black fittings are the inlet for my filtration. I think they called bulk strainer at Amazon. I'll be adding rocks soon. Under the hood I have a 3' BeamsWork LED light (Blue and white).

Very nice, how do you position the FX5 outlets with that background? Would like to get a background for mine but worried about how to fit these in.

The 3D Background is about .25" tick. So what I did I drill 2 holes for the inlet and outlet for my background. I align it with my bulkhead (in/out) and then I added my bulk fittings. I'll would like to suggest that I would glue it on the background. because you will have some small gaps between the tank and the background. Small fish could enter in that opening.

BeamsWorks works fine for me. For me I like the 3' on my 6' tank. It has a nice effect on both corner (dark shaded)
