Petrochromis Moshi and Texas Ubwari Videos

Hi all,

I figured I would start my introduction to the website with a couple of videos of two of my tanks  First one is my 300 Gallon breeding group of Petro Moshi Siyeswe Mahale with Petrochromis Polyodon Chinga in the tank. The Moshi are mostly all WC with a few smaller f1 mixed in. The Polyodon Chinga are a mix of WC and F1. The few Macro greens in the tank are all females and I will be adding more in the very near future to get the group breeding. The second is a short Video of my dominant male Petrochromis Texas Ubwari. The tank they are in is a 300 gallon show tank. The group is almost all WC as well with a few smaller f1s mixed in. There is also a large breeding group of Rhamphochromis in the tank.

Wow nice petro collection Gerald. Love that 300gal monster tank. What's your filtration with all those fish inside?

Thanks I will have to get a video up when I can with my 500 Gallon Petro Blue Giant tank.  I run 2 Fx5s on the 300 gallon aquarium with a 40 gallon sump thats connected to the tank with a Laguna ClearFlo 2100 pond filter.  The setup works really well and I need it because there are a lot of fish in the tank.  The sump filter is connected to a Duracell 1800 watt stand by battery pack also in case I ever have a power outage.

I finally got the other part of my macro group back from my friend yesterday.  It was a pain getting them out of his 600 gallon tank.  They are from Nsumbu in Zambia.  I finally got the male I needed in order to get the group breeding again back also. I attached a couple of pictures of him.  Sorry if the pictures are blurry it was right after I fed them and he was swimming around really fast.

Nice! Wow yeah he's a stunner! Was interested in one day getting some Manrognathus. Definitely like them!

If the male gets the group going after I get a batch of fry for myself and my buddy if you want some let me know.  I like Macros they are one of my favorite petros but they are so hard to keep because wild caughts get aggressive.
