That’s probably part of the reason why. F1 are fed their fill of overly nutritious protein rich food multiple times per day and reach adult size, and then some, quite quickly.

My buddy George, that was one of the original Trophs members, and was one of the first dozen or so petro guys I knew of, had wild moshi that had been in his collection for a LLOOOONG time and they were monsters.

Ah cool. Yeah my biggest at the moment are a true 10.5"-11" my male and one female. Who has recently gotten really aggressive. So they are both in cages in the tank.
