Nice mate!! Got you some Moops again. How big is the group? I thought i counted about 22 but they're moving around so fast. LOL. What is the M/F ratio?

Sweet mate. Could the head color variation be attributed to subtle locality dofferences between kasakalawe and mpulungu? Great looking and consistent sunspot throughout the group.

Kasakalawe and Mpulungu are the same fish. Yes, every group has some variation. I agree. But the Kasakalawe are called that because of the Kasakalawe Village at the collection point Mpulungu.

Same fish though. They are caught at the southern most part of the lake right by the tip of the cape. I think that they will brighten up more and more as time passes just like my last group.

Now it looks to be about half are the typical coloration so they are moving forward. Food has a lot to do with it as well as these were on NLS which is an okay food but tends to enhance more reds and oranges than blues. once they are fully on Omega One Super Color Kelp pellets they will have more blue and violets to them for sure. Its a more well balanced food for colors in my opinion. Good food!

Nice group I to have 2 big wild colony's of Moops and love the orange spots on the head and the orange circles around the eyes.
