I though I would throw some ideas out here about my sump design, and see if anyone has any suggestions or warnings about what I have planned so far.
The display tank will be a 75 plumbed through a wall into an adjacent utility room, where I will have a 55 gallon as a sump. I plan to build a PVC manifold, with a couple tees off the return line to run a wet/dry bio tower and possibly a purigen reactor in the future.
I don't plan to put any baffles in the sump. I want to have it as full as I can, making sure it won't overflow when the return pump is shut off, so I get maximum water volume in the system.
