I usually pull the holding females around 2 weeks and put them in a private tank to spit I also notice that most of my wc females still manage to eat a bit of flake food while holding.

I will let them spit. I never have had any problems with fry being eaten before.

Yeah. I never noticed in other peoples trophs until I started keeping them for some reason.

Ive never stripped a fish before so i wouldnt be comfortable trying to. id probably be very shaky. I dont wanna hurt the fishs' jaw with my jittery hands. I havent ever had problems with fry being chased or eaten either. Infact, the other fish dont even pay the fry any attention. Plus no one is bothering the holding female.
