What Tank mates are best with Cyphotilapia?

Hey Gang,

Figured I'd get a thread started about types of other tang or fish that you've successfully kept with your Cyphos...

I've kept Altolamps, Wild Lobochilotes and Tropheus. I've heard of people keeping Tropheus long term. I've done in the past don't recommend it as The Tropheus will regularly offer free trailer trimming, DAILY!

So it'll be interesting to see some of the responses...

Calvus, Synodontis eupterus, Blue dolphins, Troheus Duboisi and Neolamprologus leleupi worked well for me at various points, although I took out the leleupi once the Fronts got to adult size just in case!

Ha haa. Yeah that makes sense. I once heard of a "new" importer putting wild gobies in with Wild Cyphos and they didn't understand where the gobies were disappearing to. lol

What happened to the Frontosa's Andrew, do you still have them ?

I actually sold them in 2014 in two groups. One group was merged with some wild Moba's and they started spawning really well. I will try and see if I can get ahold of them to post any for sale here...
