So very randomly 2 of my Bemba colony developed a mild fungal infection nearly 2 weeks ago, the classic smallish white patches on their dorsal fins. I keep trying to get a decent picture but their hospital tank is very dark and not near natural light. These are two of the second batch I got to add to my colony, which I don't think are as good quality as the first (markings and coloration)
I'm treating with Pimafix, extra aquarium salt and raised temp. Onto second week of pimafix cycle, not noticed much of an improvement in the patches, but they are certainly active and eating very well. I'm sure after another week or so or treatment I'll notice an improvement.
Anyone use epsom salts to any benefit in this scenarios or any other useful additions?
