I was slightly dubious about keeping this Pulcher pair in a community tank, as they are well known to be super aggro when breeding. But they had grown up in one so decided to see how it would go. They cleared a small area underneath a rock, right next to the breeding Neolamprologus Multifasciatus colony and also the next rock over from where a pair of Julies hang out. Other fish in the tank are the 8 multies +fry, 4 Julies, 10 Cyprichromis leptosoma, 1 Goby, 1 Leilupi and 1 Sexfacitus.
I decided to keep a close eye on them, as there wasn't really any aggression going on, the occasional flaring when a Julie came too close to the cave but that was about it, Cyps are allowed to swim nearby as are the Goby and Sexfacitus and nothing was being attacked. So was slightly surprised to see a large batch of free swimming fry under the rock, took a video and a couple of rubbish pics with my phone.
Will be interesting to see how they act with the others as the young start venturing out more.
