Fry care for optimal growth

So I have all my Trophs in the tank and they are all between 1-2 inches, most right around the 1.5" mark.

For food I have NLS Growth, Omega One Super Veggie Flakes and Ken's Premium Tropheus' Lovers Flake - been feeding small amounts throughout the day mixing it up.  So far everything has been getting eaten so they are not being picky eaters...at the moment.

For water changes doing 25% every other day - should I keep on this schedule or up it to once a day?  Not doing it due to nitrates just to keep getting nice fresh water.

Any changes I should make to the above or anything else I should be doing to help these little guys grow?

I wouldn't change the water that much if on city water. If they are in good clean water to begin with and the tank is for the most part newer, then just stick to once a week and monitor the water parameters. If they are in a bigger tank you wont have to worry about nitrates building up over the course of a week either.

Water that is being filtered properly is clean fresh water. The minerals being depleted from the water is more important than anything. But once again, if they are in a bigger tank, you don't need to worry about that being smaller fish.
