Auction Idea! Your Thoughts Please....

Hey Everyone...

I want to know everyone's opinion on an idea that me one of our sponsors, Cichlids and Herps, were discussing to send help to a needed organization.

It would be an auction that would be for numerous fish. The key is that all of the proceeds of the auction (excluding shipping) would go to towards a specific charity that would be voted on and agreed to by YOU, the Tropheus And More forum board community!

I would handle the funds myself to avoid any conflict of interest towards the sponsor and would provide documentation proving the charity donation of the full proceeds!

how does this sound to everyone?

Please chime in and share your thoughts and also include a charity that you think needs our help. It can be anything from something to help the community of fish keepers in the aspect of an organization for wild fish conservation or something more important like US Veteran support!

i think that would be a great idea plus i am sure there would be a lot of bidders helping out. i have seen something like this before and i saw the groups for auction going for more than they were worth all for charity/

The thread will reflect who is interested in doing this. I'd like to get more feedback before moving forward with this idea any further.
