What to get, 2 opinions, please answer by Sunday June 4!

I have an opportunity to get these 2 species:

Tropheus duboisi Maswa 4 - 5 cm F1 !
Tropheus kazumbe gold 4 - 6 cm

I can get up to 60 each to fill a box. I really like kazumba so am getting them for sure.

The question is, to get 60 kazumbe, or 30 of each species for a tank. I know I will have no crossbreeding issues and would be a nice colour contrast. I really like big colonies of at least 30, only concern is fish do die before maturity and if I get 30 each, by the time they are adults it could be quite a few less per species.

Any thoughts from members which option you would choose, option 1, or option 2?

I need any input by Sunday, June 4 in the evening EST.

Options:

1) 60 Tropheus kazumbe gold

2) 30 Tropheus kazumbe gold and 30 Tropheus duboisi Maswa

Depends if you're want to just view them for pleasure or breed them as well. If for breeding I would get the 60 GK's...you end up with about a 50/50 ratio when growing out fry...plus there is usually quite a few dub fry available so for fry sale the GK's would prob move easier.

definately agree with Danny. the important thing to remember is you will get many different answers. do what you like it's your tank and your the one who us going to enjoy them . which ever choice you make you can't go wrong . tropheus are a beautiful and energetic fish to watch. so enjoy whatever decision you make
