Need Help Figuring Out My Tropheus Species

Hi Everyone, I aquired a Tropheus pair but I can't seem to find any pictures to tell me what they are. I currently have about 10 fry from them and would love to know what they are! 🎉🐟🎉

Hello Char. What you have there are not a lake Tanganyika tropheus, but rather a lake Malawi Cichlid in the mbuna group called Labeotropheus fuelleborni.

We love looking at them, my husband calls the male "General" because he looks and acts like one. lol! I now have twenty 1/2 inch fry in a 10 gal to start growing them out, will move them to a 35 as soon as my Frontosa are ready to go in the main tank.
